Do you wish the rainforest was more dense, had bigger trees, and overall felt more like the movies? Well then this mod is for you!
This mod works by swapping minor foliage/small trees for larger roots and bigger trees to help improve the overall feeling of scale in the rainforest. Due to this swapping technique, there will be some clipping with other items. It has not been tested with a full playthrough and it is likely it will interfere with some missions.
This mod may impact performance!
To avoid the ugly texture pop-in issue I would suggest setting your streamer dedicated budget as high as possible.
Installation:
Put the blue folder into your AFOP game directory or put the prop folder directly into graph objects folder. Your file directory should look like C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\AFOP\blue\graph objects\prop
Known Issues:
– There are some rainforest trees in Clouded Forest around the Stone Sentinels. This seems to be the only area affected outside of the Kinglor Forest
– Trees will sometimes appear in places they shouldn’t e.g. on floating mountains
– There is a root clipping through the aranahe hometree. I don’t think it will effect gameplay significantly. See images for reference
– There will be branches clipping through the game start screen. See images for reference. At least that lets you know it’s working…
– RDA can still shoot you through added trees so hide behind something else
